A sequence of elements bring light into this south facing terrace where linked medium, low and very high ceilings counteract the terrace house tunnel effect.
Warm natural materials with muted colours were used. Broad floorboards are limed to reduce colour and accentuate texture. Timber lining boards are used in preference to plasterboard and render.
A raised front garden, a small courtyard, and a timber lined court lead to the lofty timber room that breaks out of its terrace house confinements.
